HUD offers foreclosure relief and other assistance

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is implementing federal disaster assistance for the State of Texas to provide support to homeowners and homebuyers in areas affected by the Severe Winter Storm. This measure allows HUD to offer foreclosure relief and other assistance to impacted families living in affected counties.

PUC suspends disconnects for nonpayment

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) suspended disconnections for non-payment until further notice, including ordering utilities not to process disconnection.
