Letter Generator: TEA Complaint About Compenstory Services

If you have already sent a letter to your school to request compensatory services because you believe your child loss progress due to closures from the pandemic and the school does not respond or provide the services in a prompt manner, parents should send a complaint letter to TEA (Texas Education Agency) before or by the date your school first closed or changed to remote learning – whether that was in mid-March or as late as April 17, 2020, when the Governor officially closed all schools. This is because there is a one-year deadline to file complaints with TEA to get compensatory education services.

Please complete the form below which will generate a PDF of a letter you can email or fax to TEA.
