About the DRTx Board
Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) is mandated by federal law to serve individuals with developmental, mental and physical. The DRTx Board of Directors value diversity of culture, disability and other life experiences.
Announcement: Now Accepting Applications
In order to assure that the Board reflects, to the extent possible, the geographic and ethnic diversity of the State, DRTx encourages persons with disabilities, individuals from rural areas, language and ethnic distinct communities, and other traditionally underserved communities to apply for positions to the Board.
Currently 4 Board positions are available that offer a 3-year term of service with the option of a second 3-year term of service.
The Board Nominations Committee will review all applications, select some candidates for an interview, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
We are accepting applications throughout the coming year for terms beginning Fall 2017. Please complete and return the application no later than August 25, 2017.
